If the headphones have already been paired with a few devices, they automatically try to connect to the two most-recently connected Bluetooth devices. The headphones can save the connection profiles of up to eight Bluetooth devices or smartphones. If you pair the headphones with a ninth Bluetooth device, the saved connection profile of the least used Bluetooth device will be overwritten.
