8: Diagnostics Diagnostics Output Table 8-8 Log Settings Log Description Select a diagnostic log output type: Disable - Turn off the logging feature. Line 1 - Directs logging to the selected serial line. Line 2 - Directs logging to the selected serial line. Line 3 - Directs logging to the selected serial line. Line 4 - Directs logging to the selected serial line. To Configure the Diagnostic Log Output Using Web Manager To configure the Diagnostic Log output, on the Diagnostics page, click Log. Using the CLI To enter the command level: enable > config > diagnostics > log Using XML Include in your file: Memory The memory information includes the total and available memory (in kilobytes). To View Memory Usage Using Web Manager To view memory information, on the Diagnostics page, click Memory. Using the CLI To enter the command level: enable > device, show memory Using XML Include in your file: Ping You can use Ping to test connectivity to a remote host. IP Socket Host Count Table 8-9 Ping Configuration Description Enter the IP address or host name for the devices that you want to ping.
