8: Diagnostics Diagnostics Output Table 8-8 Log Settings Log Description Select a diagnostic log output type:  Disable - Turn off the logging feature.  Line 1 - Directs logging to the selected serial line.  Line 2 - Directs logging to the selected serial line.  Line 3 - Directs logging to the selected serial line.  Line 4 - Directs logging to the selected serial line. To Configure the Diagnostic Log Output Using Web Manager  To configure the Diagnostic Log output, on the Diagnostics page, click Log. Using the CLI  To enter the command level: enable > config > diagnostics > log Using XML  Include in your file: Memory The memory information includes the total and available memory (in kilobytes). To View Memory Usage Using Web Manager  To view memory information, on the Diagnostics page, click Memory. Using the CLI  To enter the command level: enable > device, show memory Using XML  Include in your file: Ping You can use Ping to test connectivity to a remote host. IP Socket Host Count Table 8-9 Ping Configuration Description Enter the IP address or host name for the devices that you want to ping.
