Chapter 3 - Configuring the CV30 4 From Intermec Settings, select Communications > 802.11 Radio > Certificates. 5 Select Import Root Certificates = False. Choose True from the drop-down menu. 6 Select Import User Certificates = False. Choose True from the drop-down menu. 7 Exit Intermec Settings and save your settings. The certificates are immediately imported: a All root certificates in \Temp\Root are imported into the Trusted Authorities certificate store. Note: You are prompted when a root certificate is imported, unless that certificate is already in the store. b All certificate and key files in \Temp\User are imported into the My Certificates certificate store. c The Import Root Certificates and the Import User Certificates settings are changed from True to False. 8 Configure your CV30 for WPA, WPA2, or 802.1x security. Disabling Security If you choose not to use security with your wireless network, you can disable it on the CV30. Intermec recommends that you always set security in your network. To disable security 1 Open Intermec Settings. 2 Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Microsoft Security. 3 For Network Authentication, choose Open. 4 For Data Encryption, choose Disabled. 5 Close Intermec Settings.
