Start the engine and rotate the drive track one or two turns. Stop the engine. Check the drive track alignment with the slide runners. If the alignment is incorrect, align the drive track by turning the left and right adjusting nuts. Left adjusting bolt Right adjusting bolt 1 6. Tighten the locknuts to their specified torque. Locknut tightening torque: 59 Nm (5.9 m·kgf, 43 ft·lbf) 1. Slide runner 7. 8. 9. Recheck alignment and deflection. If necessary, repeat steps 3 to 6 until the proper adjustment is achieved. Lower the snowmobile to the ground. Tighten the rear axle nut. Adjust the drive track deflection to speci-
fication.
NOTICE:
The right and left ad-
justing bolts should be turned an
equal amount.

Tighten the locknuts to their specified
torque.
7.
Recheck alignment and deflection. If nec-
essary, repeat steps 3 to 6 until the prop-
er adjustment is achieved.
8.
Lower the snowmobile to the ground.
9.
Tighten the rear axle nut.
Adjusting the drive track (RX10MT)
1.
Loosen the rear axle nut.
2.
Lift the rear of the snowmobile onto a suit-
able stand to raise the drive track off the
ground.
3.
Start the engine and rotate the drive track
one or two turns. Stop the engine.
4.
Check the drive track alignment with the
slide runners. If the alignment is incorrect,
align the drive track by turning the left and
right adjusting nuts.
