1. Lift up the shroud. 2. Unhook the latch 1. 3. Loosen the joint clamp screws 2. 4. Slide the oil tank breather hose clamp 3 away from the air filter case, and then disconnect the oil tank breather hose 4. 5. Lift up the air filter case, slide the crankcase breather hose clamp 5 down, disconnect the crankcase breather hose 6 from the air filter case, and then remove the air filter case. 6. Disconnect the negative battery lead. 7. Replace the blown fuse with one of the proper amperage. Specified fuses: 7Main fuse: 8"HEAD" (Headlight) fuse: 9"SIG" (Signal) fuse: 0"DC TERM" (Auxiliary DC jack) fuse: A"C/W" (Carburetor warmer) fuse: B"IGN" (Ignition) fuse: C"FAN" (Radiator fan) fuse: D Spare fuses (20 A, 10 A, 15 A, 3 A) E Spare main fuse 8. Connect the negative battery lead. 9. Install the air filter case by reversing the removal steps. 30 A 20 A 10 A 3A 20 A 15 A 15 A CAUTION: @ Be sure to connect the breather hoses securely when installing the air filter case. @ NOTE: @ If the fuse immediately blows again, ask a Yamaha dealer to inspect the snowmobile. @ 8-31
