Inspect for nicks, scratches or otherwise damaged or bent parts before assembling the cylinder. Replace parts that appear damaged in any way. The cylinder may not function correctly if there is damage to any of the parts. Destroy all the O-rings and seals and replace with NEW O-rings and seals Assembly 1. Install the O-Ring on the piston. Tip: Do not overstretch the seal. 2. Install the seal on the tool (PU-51293) and stretch the seal until it fits over the piston. Allow the seal to stretch for 30 seconds before removing from the tool and installing on the piston. 3. Remove the piston seal from the tool and install on the piston. 4. Use the ring compressor to compress the seal to the correct size. Leave the piston in the ring compressor for at least 3 minutes. 37

aged in any way. The cylinder may not function correctly if there is
damage to any of the parts.
Destroy all the O-rings and seals and replace with NEW O-rings
and seals
Assembly
1.
Install the O-Ring on the piston.
Tip:

Install the seal on the tool (PU-51293) and stretch the seal
until it fits over the piston. Allow the seal to stretch for 30
seconds before removing from the tool and installing on the
piston.
3.
Remove the piston seal from the tool and install on the
piston.
4.
Use the ring compressor to compress the seal to the correct
size. Leave the piston in the ring compressor for at least 3
minutes.
