OPERATION Installation Installing The Snow Blade Always inspect the utility vehicle's mounting frame and attachment front mounting frame before installation. See the BRUTUS owner's manual. Move the gear selector lever to Low. Tilt the mounting frame (Item 1) of the utility vehicle forward. Slowly drive forward until the front edge of the attachment interface (Item 1) is completely under the top lip of the attachment mounting frame (Item 2). Raise the utility vehicle's attachment arm until the mounting frame engages the attachment mounting frame and starts to raise the attachment off the ground. Tilt the attachment interface backward until the attachment is slightly off the ground. Move the gear selector lever to Park. Stop the engine and exit the utility vehicle. See page 16. Rotate the storage stand (Item 3) up. 1 2 3 9. Remove the two retainer pins (Item 4) and pins (Item 5) from the storage location on the mounting frame. 4 5 4 5 17

Installing The Snow Blade
Always inspect the utility vehicle’s mounting frame and attach-
ment front mounting frame before installation. See the BRUTUS
owner’s manual. See Daily Inspection on page 14.
WARNING!

WARNING!
Keep fingers and hands out of pinch points when installing and removing
attachments.
1.
Enter the utility vehicle. See page 16.
2.
Start the engine.
3.
Move the gear selector lever to Low.
4.
Tilt the mounting frame (Item 1) of the utility vehicle for-
ward. Slowly drive forward until the front edge of the attach-
ment interface (Item 1) is completely under the top lip of the
attachment mounting frame (Item 2).
5.
Raise the utility vehicle’s attachment arm until the mounting
frame engages the attachment mounting frame and starts to
raise the attachment off the ground.
6.
Tilt the attachment interface backward until the attachment is
slightly off the ground.
7.
Move the gear selector lever to Park. Stop the engine and exit
the utility vehicle. See page 16.
8.
Rotate the storage stand (Item 3) up.
9.
Remove the two retainer pins (Item 4) and pins (Item 5) from
the storage location on the mounting frame.
