OPERATION Operating The Snow Blade The snow blade is used to clear snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking lots. Trip Springs The snow blade is equipped with trip springs (Item 1) which will allow the snow blade to tilt forward when the cutting edge hits an obstruction. Reset the trip spring after hitting an obstruction, raise the snow blade, or slowly back up the utility vehicle. WARNING! AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH Hitting obstructions with the snow blade angled and the front tires off the ground can cause loss of traction. Ensure the front tires are in contact with the ground at all times. 1 1 Pushing Snow Change the angle of the snow blade to the desired position. See page 16. With the operator in the operator's position and seat belt fastened, start the engine. See BRUTUS owner's manual for detailed information. The snow blade can be used in either the float position or lowered to the desired position with the joystick. See page 20. Move the utility vehicle forward to push snow. 22

Operating The Snow Blade
The snow blade is used to clear snow from sidewalks, drive-
ways and parking lots

Trip Springs
