INITIAL SETUP Adjusting Skid Shoe Height Raise the snow blade off the ground. Place blocks (Item 1) under the cutting edge (both sides) to hold the skid shoes off the ground. DAILY INSPECTION PRO-TACH Attachment Mounting Frame WARNING! OPERATION Hydraulic Quick Couplers New attachments and new BRUTUS HD and HDPTO models are factory equipped with flush face couplers. If installing an attachment equipped with other couplers, the attachment couplers will have to be changed to match the BRUTUS. See your dealer for parts. OPERATION Controls Joystick The joystick control lever will be used to control the utility vehicle PRO-TACH attachment system. Move the joystick control lever forward to lower the attachment arm (Item 1). OPERATION Operating The Snow Blade Back Dragging Snow Small amounts of snow (example: snow that remains next to a garage door) can be back dragged when operating the utility vehicle with the snow blade in the float position. LIFTING THE ATTACHMENT Procedure Fasten the chain to the snow blade (Item 1).
