Once the desired riding mode is highlighted, keep button (4) pressed for 3 seconds and instrument panel will check throttle control position and front and rear brake pressure: if throttle control is "closed" and brakes are released or vehicle is stopped, the instrument panel will confirm the selected riding mode (*) and go back to the standard screen view; if throttle control is "open" or brakes are pressed and vehicle is moving, instrument panel will enable the "CLOSE THROTTLE AND RELEASE BRAKES" indicator on the display and, only when all the required conditions are fulfilled (closed throttle and released brakes or vehicle stopped) the instrument panel will confirm the selected riding mode (*) and go back to the standard screen view. - Fig 38 If throttle control is not closed and brakes are not released or vehicle is not stopped within 5 seconds after the "CLOSE THROTTLE AND RELEASE BRAKES" warning is displayed, the Riding Mode change selection procedure will not be executed and the instrument panel will go back to the standard screen view without any setup change.
