[Device Name] You can view and change this unit's Device name (SSID), which is used for operating this unit as a wireless access point. 1 Touch [INPUT], and enter the desired Device name (SSID). ≥ Input up to 20 characters are recommended. All the characters cannot be confirmed when displaying the Device names on this unit if a long Device name is used. (l 169) ≥ For details on how to enter characters, refer to page 95. 2 Touch [EXIT]. ≥ If you are going to connect directly to a smartphone after changing the Device name (SSID), set the connection again with the changed Device name (SSID). (l 169) ≥ The Password entered during the setting of direct connection cannot be changed. (l 169) [IP Address/DNS Settings] You can change or check your wireless LAN's network settings, such as the [IP Address], [Subnet Mask] and [MAC Address]. [IP Address]/[Subnet Mask]/[Gateway]/[Primary DNS]/[Secondary DNS]/[MAC Address] ≥ If you touch [AUTO], the network settings are configured automatically. If you touch [MANUAL], you can set each item. Select the item you want to set, and set it. ≥ [MAC Address] cannot be changed. [Connection Test] You can test the connection between this unit and the wireless access point. The following connections can be verified: j Connection to the wireless access point j Connection to "LUMIX CLUB" j Connection to USTREAM j Connection to the home monitor server 1 Touch [NEXT]. ≥ The connection test starts. 2 Check the connection test result, and touch [EXIT]. ≥ If the connection is successful, "±" is displayed.
