Status Displays Inside the Viewfinder Screen Selecting Display Items The items which are to be displayed on the viewfinder screen can be selected by setting ON or OFF for each item on the VF INDICATOR page. The items which can be selected are as follows. ÁExtender display ÁShutter speed/mode display ÁRemaining tape length display ÁRemaining battery level display ÁFilter display ÁWhite balance memory display ÁGain value display ÁLevel meter display ÁIris value/super iris ON status display ÁCamera ID display ÁThe camera ID is displayed when recording the color bar according to the OUTPUT/AUTO KNEE switch setting. See "Setting the Camera ID" (page 63) for a detailed description. Select the items to be displayed on the viewfinder screen. 1 Set the MENU SET/OFF switch to the SET position while the SHIFT/ITEM button and UP button are held down together. 2 Press the PAGE button to display the MAIN menu screen 2 of 4. 3 Press the SHIFT/ITEM button to move the cursor to the "VF INDICATOR" position. 4 Press the UP or DOWN button to open the VF INDICATOR page. The setting switches to ON or OFF each time the UP (or DOWN) button is pressed. Repeat steps 5 and 6 when setting display ON/OFF for other items. 7 When menu operations have been completed, set the MENU SET/OFF switch to OFF. The setting menu disappears from the viewfinder screen and the displays indicating the settings of the selected items appear. - 60 -
