This boosts the detail of the black 5 areas. LEVEL DEPEND. 0... 15 ENG This sets LEVEL DEPEND. This eliminates the detail only in the dark areas when the Y detail is boosted. The higher the number selected, the wider the range across which the detail is eliminated. |Note{ DARK DTL and LEVEL DEPEND serve opposite purposes: LEVEL DEPEND is automatically set to 0 when DARK DTL is set to a value other than 0 and, conversely, DARK DTL is automatically set to 0 when LEVEL DEPEND is set to a value other than 0. This selects ON or OFF for the mode in which low-illumination blackouts are compensated for. This selects the color compensation matrix table. The underlining in the variable range column indicates the setting in the preset mode. USER menu: The USER menu appears when the MENU switch is set to SET. ENG menu: The ENG menu appears when the MENU switch is set to SET while the SHIFT/ITEM button and UP button are held down together. - 114 -
