Chapter 4 - Developing and Installing Applications Developing a Web-Based Application You can develop web-based data collection applications for use on the CV30. For help, see any HTML source book. The CV30 contains Internet Explorer for you to use. Microsoft Internet Explorer is available from the Start menu and provides all of the common elements you expect to find. Converting a Trakker Antares Application for the CV30 If you have an existing Trakker Antares application that you would like to run on the CV30, you can use the Antares Migration Resource Kit to convert it. The Antares Migration Resource Kit is a set of libraries and tools that you use to convert your existing Trakker Antares C applications into C++ applications for use on the CV30. The CV30 does not support all Trakker Antares functions. You may need to rewrite parts of your application when converting it for use on the CV30. See the resource kit for a list of functions that are not supported. You need these hardware and software components to use the resource kit: • PC with at least 1 MB of free disk space running Microsoft Windows 2000/XP • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 • Antares Migration Resource Kit (from IDL 2.4 or later) The resource kit is part of the Intermec Developer's Library (IDL), which you can download from the Intermec web site at www.intermec.com/idl. You can develop web-based data collection applications for use
on the CV30. For help, see any HTML source book. The CV30
contains Internet Explorer

Converting a Trakker Antares Application for the CV30
If you have an existing Trakker Antares application that you
would like to run on the CV30, you can use the Antares
Migration Resource Kit to convert it. The Antares Migration
Resource Kit is a set of libraries and tools that you use to convert
your existing Trakker Antares C applications into C++
applications for use on the CV30.
The CV30 does not support all Trakker Antares functions. You
may need to rewrite parts of your application when converting it
for use on the CV30. See the resource kit for a list of functions
that are not supported.
You need these hardware and software components to use the
resource kit:
