Chapter 3 - Configuring the CV30 Configuring Funk Security Using Intermec Settings You can define up to four profiles for Funk security. Different profiles let your CV30 communicate in different networks without having to change all of your security settings. For example, you may want to set up one profile for the manufacturing floor and one for the warehouse. By default, the active profile is Profile_1. To select a profile for Funk security 1 Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Intermec Settings. 2 Select Communications > 802.11 Radio > Funk Security. 3 Select Active Profile, choose a profile from the list, and save your settings. 4 Tap the active profile to expand it. 5 (Optional) Give your profile a meaningful name: a Select Profile Label and a text box appears. b Select the text in the box and type a meaningful name. 6 Select one profile as the active profile by tapping Active Profile and choosing a profile from the drop-down list. 44 CV30 Fixed Mount Computer With Windows CE User's Manual
