Chapter 1 - Using the CV30 Fixed Mount Computer • Using the Reset button If you try both of the following options to reset the CV30 and you cannot restore system operation, you may need to perform a clean boot. For more information, see "Troubleshooting the Boot Process (Clean Booting)" on page 89. Using the Power Button to Reset the CV30 Intermec recommends pressing and holding the Power button as the preferred method to reset the CV30. This method performs a graceful system shutdown and preserves your data through the process. To reset the CV30 using the Power button • Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds. The CV30 systematically shuts down, restarts, and goes through the initialization process.
