The device receives this command without a prior Read Native Max Address command, the device regards as Set Max security extensions command according to feature register value. Valid features values are as follows: 1. 01h indicates Set Max Set Password command 2. 02h indicates Set Max Lock command 3. 03h indicates Set Max Unlock command 4. 04h indicates Set Max Freeze LOCK command This command overwrites the maximum number of Address of HDD in a range of actual device capacity. Once device receives this command, all accesses beyond that Address are rejected with setting ABORT bit in status register. Identify device command returns the Address which is set via this command as a default value. If the device in Address Offset mode receives this command with the nonvolatile option, the device returns aborted error to the host. Max Address command. The device receives this command without a prior Read Native Max Address command,
the device regards as Set Max security extensions command according to feature register value. Valid features
values are as follows:
1. 01h indicates Set Max Set Password command
2. 02h indicates Set Max Lock command
3. 03h indicates Set Max Unlock command
4. 04h indicates Set Max Freeze LOCK command
