Paper Specifications Related tasks Removing Roll Paper Selecting Roll Paper Settings - Mac Cutting Roll Paper The printer has a built-in cutter that can automatically cut most paper types, or you can cut your prints manually. To switch between cutting methods, press the paper source button on the control panel or adjust the auto cut settings in the printer driver. The setting selected in the printer driver overrides the control panel setting. Caution: Use of the built-in cutter is not recommended for the below paper types, as it may lead to dulling of the blade and more frequent replacement: • Fine art paper • Canvas Caution: Do not use the built-in cutter with these paper types or you may damage or dull the built-in cutter: • Vinyl • Matte poster board • Adhesive paper • Banner media When you print on these paper types, you need to disable the Auto Cut setting and cut the print off the roll manually.
