Periodic maintenance and adjustment Brake fluid replacement is necessary when the following components are replaced during the periodic maintenance or if they are damaged or leaking. To align the skis 1. Turn the handlebar so the skis face straight ahead. 2. Check the following for ski alignment: G Skis are facing forward. G Ski toe-out (distance A - distance B) is within specification. Skis and ski runners Check the skis and ski runners for wear and damage. Replace if necessary. 1. Ski runner wear limit 1. Distance A 2. Distance B Ski toe-out (distance A - distance B): 0.0-15.0 mm (0.00-0.59 in) TIP 1. Ski wear limit Move the front tip of each ski fully inward before measuring or aligning. 3. If the alignment is not correct, consult a Yamaha dealer. Ski runner wear limit: 6 mm (0.2 in) Ski wear limit: 24 mm (0.9 in) ESU12151 Steering system Check the handlebar for excessive free play. Skis and ski runners
Check the skis and ski runners for wear and
damage. Replace if necessary.
NOTICE
ECS00560
Avoid scratching the skis when loading

To align the skis
1.
Turn the handlebar so the skis face
straight ahead.
2.
Check the following for ski alignment:

TIP
Move the front tip of each ski fully inward be-
fore measuring or aligning.

If the alignment is not correct, consult a
Yamaha dealer.
