While holding the chain tension adjusting bolt with a wrench, tighten the locknut to the specified torque. Tightening torque: Locknut: 25 Nm (2.5 m·kgf, 18 ft·lbf) Recommended drive chain oil: SAE 75W or 80W API GL-3 Gear oil 5. TIP
Continue with steps 7 and 8 for models with

To adjust the chain tension
1.
Remove the right side cover. (See page
49 for removal procedures.)

clockwise until it is finger tight, and then

While holding the chain tension adjusting
bolt with a wrench, tighten the locknut to
the specified torque.

Install the right side cover.

find any problems in the brake system.
