Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the headlight beam adjusting screw and adjust the headlight beams. To lower the headlight beams, turn the headlight beam adjusting screw in direction (a). To raise the headlight beams, turn the headlight beam adjusting screw in direction (b). 1. Bulb holder 6. 7. Remove the bulb. Install the new bulb, and then hook the bulb holder onto the headlight unit. Bulb type: Halogen bulb ECS00620 CAUTION: Keep oil and your hands away from the glass part of the bulb or its life and illumination will be affected. ESU12290 Fittings and fasteners Check the tightness of the fittings and fasteners. Tighten in proper sequence and torque if necessary. ESU12300 Battery This snowmobile is equipped with a sealedtype (MF) battery, which does not require any maintenance. There is no need to check the electrolyte or to add distilled water. 1. Do not touch the glass part of the bulb. To charge the battery Have a Yamaha dealer charge the battery as soon as possible if it seems to have discharged. Keep in mind that the battery tends to discharge more quickly if the snowmobile is equipped with electrical accessories. 8. 9. Install the bulb holder cover, and then connect the headlight coupler. Adjusting the headlight beams

headlight beam adjusting screw and ad-
just the headlight beams. To lower the
headlight beams, turn the headlight
beam adjusting screw in direction (a). To
raise the headlight beams, turn the head-
light beam adjusting screw in direction
(b).
3.
Install the top cover.

Check the tightness of the fittings and fasten-
ers.
Tighten in proper sequence and torque if nec-
essary.

Battery
This snowmobile is equipped with a sealed-

maintenance. There is no need to check the
