ESU05360 Replacing a fuse WARNING @ Be sure to use the specified fuse. A wrong fuse could cause electrical system damage or A FIRE HAZARD. @ CAUTION: @ Be sure to turn the main switch off and disconnect the negative battery lead to prevent accidental shortcircuiting. @ 1. Remove the right side cover. (See pages 8-5-8-8 for removal procedures.) 2. Disconnect the negative battery lead. 3. Replace the blown fuse with one of the proper amperage. Specified fuses: 1 Main fuse: 2 Fuel injection system fuse: 3 "HEAD" (Headlight) fuse: 4 "SIG" (Signal) fuse: 5 "IGN" (Ignition) fuse: 6 Spare fuses (20 A, 7.5 A) 4. Connect the negative battery lead. 5. Install the right side cover. 40 A 10 A 20 A 7.5 A 20 A NOTE: @ If the fuse immediately blows again, ask a Yamaha dealer to inspect the snowmobile. @ 8-28
