7. Start the engine.
8. Disconnect the black (-) jumper cable
from the negative (-) terminal of the dis-
charged battery.
9. Disconnect the black (-) jumper cable
from the negative (-) terminal of the
booster battery.
10.Disconnect the red (+) jumper cable
from the positive (+) terminal of the
booster battery.
11.Disconnect the red (+) jumper cable
from the positive (+) terminal of the dis-
charged battery.
12.Install the right side cover.
C. Electric starter does not operate or
operates slowly
1. Engine stop switch is pushed in ... Pull
it out.
2. Faulty wire connections ... Check con-
nections or ask a Yamaha dealer to
inspect.
