Keep your body and clothing away from rotating parts when servicing the snowmobile with the shroud or covers removed. Do not touch the hot muffler and engine during or immediately after operation. CAUTION: @ Make sure that all cables, leads, etc., are in place when installing the shroud and covers. @ ESU00521 Drive guard The drive guard is designed to cover the V-belt clutch and V-belt in case parts break or come loose. WARNING @ G G @ Make sure that the drive guard is tightened securely before operating the snowmobile. Never run the engine with the V-belt or drive guard removed. 5-15
