MAINTENANCE Lubrication Recommendations Check and lubricate all components at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 67, or more often under severe use, such as wet or dusty conditions. Grease 4 fittings on each side of the vehicle. Grease one fitting on each side of the vehicle. All Season Grease or grease conforming to NLGI No. 2 Engine Oil Always check and change the engine oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 67. Lubrication Recommendations

Engine Oil
Always check and change the engine oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance
Chart beginning on page 67. Always change the oil filter whenever changing oil.

Vehicle operation with insufficient, deteriorated, or contaminated engine oil will cause
accelerated wear and may result in engine seizure, accident, and injury. Always perform the
maintenance procedures as outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart.

POLARIS recommends the use of POLARIS PS-4 5W-50 4-Cycle Oil or a similar oil. Refer
to the specifications section beginning on page 98 for capacities. See page 102 for the part
