Instruments, Features and Controls Ignition Switch The ignition key operates the ignition switch and parking lights. The ignition switch provides electrical power to the ignition, the lighting system and all electrical switches and buttons. Before starting the engine, read the instructions for starting the engine. See page 62. Off Position In the OFF position, all electrical circuits are inactive and the ignition key can be removed. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and remove the ignition key when leaving the motorcycle unattended. Park On Off 32
