Maintenance Toe Alignment Use the following procedure to check the toe alignment of the vehicle. The vehicle is designed for a neutral toe setting. WARNING! Severe injury or death can result from improper toe alignment and adjustment. Do not attempt to adjust tie rod alignment. All tie rod adjustments should be performed by an authorized Polaris dealer. 1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. Ensure the vehicle is at the proper ride height by placing a rider on the vehicle. 2. Place the handlebars in a straight-ahead position. Secure the handlebars in this position. 3. Place a chalk mark on the center line of the front tires approximately 10" (25.4 cm) from the floor, or as close to the hub/axle center line as possible. Make sure both marks are the same distance from the floor. 146
