Features and Controls Engine Stop Switch (B) The stop switch (B) is located on the top of the left handlebar. The engine will not start or run when the stop switch is down, in the OFF position. Its purpose is to provide the operator with a quick means of engine shutdown in case of stuck throttle or other emergency. NOTE: Both the main switch and the emergency engine stop switch shut off all electrical power to the entire vehicle. To stop the engine quickly, push the stop switch down. Choke Lever (C) The choke lever (C) is located on the bottom of the left handlebar. The choke is used when starting a cold engine. Push the choke lever to the left before starting the engine. When the engine starts, gradually return the choke lever to the OFF position as the engine warms up and runs smoothly. Horn Button (D) The horn button is located on the lefthand control (Sportsman 90 and Predator 90). 78

Engine Stop Switch (B)

operator with a quick means of engine shutdown in case of stuck throttle or other
emergency.
NOTE:
Both the main switch and the emergency engine stop switch shut off
all electrical power to the entire vehicle. To stop the engine quickly, push the stop switch
down.
Choke Lever (C)
The choke lever (C) is located on the bottom of the left handlebar. The choke is used when
starting a cold engine. Push the choke lever to the left before starting the engine. When the
engine starts, gradually return the choke lever to the OFF position as the engine warms up
and runs smoothly.
Horn Button (D)
The horn button is located on the lefthand control (Sportsman 90 and Predator 90).
