MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 51 Throttle Cable Inspect the throttle grip for smooth operation in all steering positions. Check and adjust the throttle cable in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart. Check that the throttle grip has 2 ∼ 3 mm (0.08 ∼ 0.12 in.) of play and turns smoothly. Throttle Cable Adjustment there is improper play, adjust it. • If the rubber boot off the upper end of the throttle • Pull cable. the locknut on the upper end of the throttle • Loosen cable and turn the adjuster to obtain the specified j • play.
