Visually inspect the tire for cracks and cuts, replac-
ing the tire in case of bad damage.
Swelling or
high spots indicate internal damage, requiring tire
replacement.
Remove any imbedded stones or other foreign
particles from the tread.
Joint Boots
In
accordance
with
the
Periodic
Maintenance
Chart, inspect the joint boots on the front suspen-
sion arms (4 pieces), and tie rod ends (4 pieces), for
cracks, holes, damage or deterioration.
If there is
any indication of these troubles in one of them, have
the joint boot replaced by an authorized Kawasaki
dealer.
