MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 113 Seat Belts In accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart, check that each seat belt functions properly. Push the latch plate into the buckle until it clicks. The latch plate must slide smoothly into the buckle. The click sound shows it is securely latched. Push the red button in the buckle to make sure it releases freely. Also check the belt webbing for wear, cuts or damage. If any irregularities are found, have the seat belt system checked or replaced by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. Headlight Beam • The headlight beams can be adjusted vertically. Remove the holder. j A. Holder the adjusting screw on each headlight rim in • Turn or out to adjust the headlight vertically. A.
