Stopping the motorcycle Reduce speed, shift down and release the throttle twistgrip. Change down to engage first gear and then neutral. Apply the brakes and bring the motorcycle to a complete stop. To switch the engine off, simply turn the key to (2, fig. 59). 2 1 E Never leave the key in the ON position (1) when engine is stopped, or this will damage the electric components. Important Refuelling Never overfill the tank when refuelling. The fuel level should always be below the rim of the filler recess (fig. 60). Use low-lead fuel with a minimum octane rating of 95 RON. Stopping the motorcycle

switch the engine off, simply turn the key to (2, fig. 59).
Important
Never leave the key in the ON position (1) when engine
is stopped, or this will damage the electric components.
Refuelling
Never overfill the tank when refuelling. The fuel level should
always be below the rim of the filler recess (fig. 60).
Warning
