Call block Call block Delete a call block entry Using the handset or the telephone base: 1. Search for the desired entry in the call block list (see Review call block list on page 108). 2. When the desired entry displays, press MUTE/DELETE on the handset, or press X/DELETE on the telephone base. 3. The screen shows Delete entry?. Press YES to confirm. The screen displays Entry deleted, and then the next entry displays. You cannot retrieve a deleted entry.     Block calls without number You can use this feature to reject all incoming calls which are "out of area" or with numbers set to "Private". Using the handset or the telephone base: CALL BLOCK Block list 1. When the telephone is in idle mode, press MENU. 2. Press CID or  DIR on the handset, or press qCALLER ID or pDIRECTORY on the telephone base to scroll to Call block, then press SELECT. 3. Press CID or  DIR on the handset, or press qCALLER ID or pDIRECTORY on the telephone base to scroll to Calls w/o num, then press SELECT. Mute first ring of blocked calls An incoming call will ring once and then the system will check if the call should be blocked. You can mute the first ring of blocked calls. Using the handset or the telephone base: 1. When the telephone is in idle mode, press MENU. 2. Press 7464#. 3. Press CID or  DIR on the handset, or press qCALLER ID or pDIRECTORY on the telephone base to scroll to select On or Off, then press SELECT. There is a confirmation tone. Delete a call block entry
Using the handset or the telephone base:
Search for the desired entry in the call block list (see
Review call block

on page 108).
When the desired entry displays, press
MUTE
/DELETE
on the handset, or
press
X/DELETE
on the telephone base.
The screen shows
Delete entry?
. Press

to confirm. The screen
displays
Entry deleted
, and then the next entry displays. You cannot
