Help Guide Wireless Speaker SRS-RA5000 Using the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function If the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function is on, the speaker turns on when a BLUETOOTH device or network device is operated. The start-up time becomes shorter and the speaker will become operational sooner than in normal start-up. 1 Turn on the speaker. The Power indicator (green) lights up. 2 Touch and hold the (Power)/ PAIRING button and the (Sound Mode) button simultaneously for more than 4 seconds. When the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function is turned on, the Power indicator (amber) lights up and the speaker is automatically turned off. If you operate a network device or BLUETOOTH device to connect to the speaker, the speaker turns on automatically and connection starts. To turn off the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function Touch and hold the (Power)/ PAIRING button and the (Sound Mode) button simultaneously for more than 4 seconds. The BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function is turned off. Hint With the speaker's BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function turned on, the Power indicator (amber) remains lit while the speaker is turned off. Using the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function
If the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function is on, the speaker turns on when a BLUETOOTH device or network
device is operated. The start-up time becomes shorter and the speaker will become operational sooner than in normal
start-up.
To turn off the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function
Touch and hold the
(Power)/
PAIRING button and the
(Sound Mode) button simultaneously for more than 4
seconds. The BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function is turned off.
Hint
With the speaker's BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function turned on, the Power indicator (amber) remains lit while the speaker
is turned off.
You can use “Sony | Music Center” to turn on/off the BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function as well.
