The following options are available: Option Description Aperture widens while the control is pressed. t Power aperture (open) Use in combination with Custom Setting g2 (Custom control assignment) > Fn2 button > Power aperture (close) for button-controlled aperture adjustment. Aperture narrows while the control is pressed. q Power aperture (close) Use in combination with Custom Setting g2 (Custom control assignment) > Fn1 button > Power aperture (open) for button-controlled aperture adjustment. Exposure compensation increases while the control is pressed. Use in combination with i Exposure Custom Setting g2 (Custom control compensation + assignment) > Fn2 button > Exposure compensation − for button-controlled exposure compensation. Exposure compensation decreases while the control is pressed. Use in combination with h Exposure Custom Setting g2 (Custom control compensation - assignment) > Fn1 button > Exposure compensation + for button-controlled exposure compensation. Pressing the control during auto-area AF enables subject tracking; the focus point will change to a n Subject tracking targeting reticle and the monitor to a subjecttracking display. To end subject-tracking AF, press the control again or press the W (Q) button. b Framing grid Press the control to turn the framing grid display display on or off. g Protect Press the control during playback to protect the current picture.
