WIRE ACCESSORIES TO EXPANSION BOARD PHOTOELECTRIC SENSORS AND EDGE SENSORS The EYES/EDGE terminals are used for connecting entrapment protection devices. At least one external monitored entrapment protection device is required prior to gate movement. Monitored entrapment protection devices should have been installed with the operator at the time of installation. Only ONE monitored device may be connected to each input. A monitored device sends a pulsed signal to the operator so the operator is aware of the device. If the operator does not receive the signal from the device indicating it is working properly, it will not run in that direction.
