Refer to table 2" to 2.5" Depth Saw Cut 22 NOTE: Wire mesh or reinforcement embedded in the road surface should be cut away a minimum of 6 inches from the perimeter of the loop.

120Vac “Safety” Loop Detector -
Allows gate to stay open when vehicles are
obstructing path. Caution: Suggested for vehicles 14 feet or longer. If a vehicle is
shorter, a center loop system is recommended and should be installed.
If the “Inside” and “Outside” safety loops are connected to the same loop detector:
• They should be series connected to the detector
• Have the same dimensions.
• Have the same number of wire turns (See table below).
