Caution: During transportation and storage, follow these guidelines: • Avoid tilting the product more than 10° forward or backward while moving it. • Leave the ink cartridges installed. Removing the cartridges can dry out the print head and may prevent the product from printing, or ink may leak. • Use the casters to move the printer indoors a short distance over a level floor. Do not move the product with locked casters. Avoid areas with steps or uneven flooring. • If you are transporting or storing the product below 14°F (-10°C), you must discharge the ink. See the link below for instructions. • Make sure the print head is capped (the print head is positioned at the far left) before storing the product. If the print head is left uncapped for a long period of time, the print quality may decline. Note: Before storing your product for a long period, replace low, expended, or expired ink to help prevent the print head from drying out. Store your product in a cool, dry place. 1. Remove all the paper from the product. 2. Turn off the product. 3. Unplug the power cable. 4. Disconnect any connected cables. 5. Remove the output tray, if necessary. 6. Close all covers on the product. 7. Unlock the casters on the front of the product. 323
