8. Orient the Left Upper Body Arm (12) and the Left Link Arm (10) assembly as shown. Apply a generous amount of the included grease to the left axle on the Upright (6) and to the axle on the Left Link Arm. Then, place a Weld Spacer (89) on the Left Link Arm; orient the Weld Spacer so that the wide side faces the Left Link Arm. Apply a small amount of grease to two Wave Washers (95). Place one Wave Washer on the Upright (6) and place the other Wave Washer on the Left Link Arm (10). With the help of another person, work the Left Upper Body Arm (12) onto the axle on the Upright (6) and the Left Link Arm (10) into the Left Pedal Arm (8) at the same time. Attach the Left Upper Body Arm (12) with a 3/8" x 3/4" Patch Screw (104) and a 3/8" Washer (84). Attach the Left Link Arm (10) with a 3/8" x 1" Patch Screw (81), a Small Axle Cover (67), and a 3/8" Washer (84). Tip: If you have a hard time working the Left Link Arm all the way into the Left Pedal Arm (8), try working the Left Link Arm in halfway and then tightening the 3/8" x 1" Patch Screw to pull the Link Arm the rest of the way in. Repeat this step for the Right Upper Body Arm (13) and the Right Link Arm (11). 9. Attach a Pivot Cap (64) to an Outer Body Arm Cover (52) with two #8 x 1/2" Screws (91). Attach the Outer Body Arm Cover (52) to the Left Upper Body Arm (12) with three #8 x 3/4" Screws (78). Make sure that all parts of the elliptical exerciser are properly tightened. Note: Some hardware may be left over after assembly is completed. To protect the floor or carpet from damage, place a mat under the elliptical exerciser. Plug the power cord into the power socket at the front of the elliptical exerciser (see HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER CORD on page 10). IMPORTANT: If the elliptical exerciser has been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to warm to room temperature before plugging in the power cord. If you do not do this, the console displays or other electronic components may become damaged. The ramp will calibrate automatically when the elliptical exerciser is plugged in for the first time. 9

Attach the Outer Body Arm Cover (52) to the
Left Upper Body Arm (12) with three #8 x 3/4"
Screws (78).
Repeat this step for the right side of the
elliptical exerciser.

generous amount of the included grease to the
left axle on the Upright (6) and to the axle on
the Left Link Arm. Then, place a Weld Spacer

Left Pedal Arm (8) at the same time.
Attach the Left Upper Body Arm (12) with a
3/8" x 3/4" Patch Screw (104) and a 3/8"
Washer (84). Attach the Left Link Arm (10) with
a 3/8" x 1" Patch Screw (81), a Small Axle
Cover (67), and a 3/8" Washer (84).
Tip: If you
have a hard time working the Left Link Arm
all the way into the Left Pedal Arm (8), try
working the Left Link Arm in halfway and
then tightening the 3/8" x 1" Patch Screw to
pull the Link Arm the rest of the way in.
Repeat this step for the Right Upper Body
Arm (13) and the Right Link Arm (11).
