Installing the battery 1. Insert the battery into the slot and press until it clicks into place. 2. Follow the procedures in After working inside your computer. To remove the optical drive: a) Remove the M2x5 screw that secures the optical drive to the computer [1]. b) Using a plastic scribe, push the tab in the direction of the arrow indicated on the chassis.
