Ensure that the rubber grommets are in their position after placing the speaker on the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 1. Using the alignment posts, align and place the speakers on the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 2. Route the speaker cable through the routing guides on the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 3. Slide the status-light board cable into the connector on the status-light board and close the latch to secure the cable. 4. Connect the speaker cable to the system board. Post-requisites 1. Procedure
NOTE:
The rubber grommets may get pushed out while replacing the speaker. Ensure that the rubber grommets are in
their position after placing the speaker on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
1.
Using the alignment posts, align and place the speakers on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
2.
Route the speaker cable through the routing guides on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3.
Slide the status-light board cable into the connector on the status-light board and close the latch to secure the cable.
4.
Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
