Disconnect the battery cable from the system board. 2. Peel the tape that secures the hard-drive cable to the battery. 3. Open the latch and disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system board. 4. Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the battery to the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 5. Lift the battery off the palm rest and keyboard assembly. Removing the battery 13

Prerequisites
Remove the
base cover
.
Procedure
1.
Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
2.
Peel the tape that secures the hard-drive cable to the battery.
3.
Open the latch and disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system board.
4.
Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the battery to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
5.
Lift the battery off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
