DBG-2000 User Guide The fields displayed on this page are as follows: Field Priority Policy Protocol Source Source port Destination Destination port Schedule Comment (Optional) Save Cancel Description Define the priority of the IPv4 firewall rule. The smaller the number, the higher the priority. Select either Deny or Permit. Select the protocol on which you want to configure the firewall rule. The options are Any, TCP, UDP, TCP/UDP, and ICMP. Enter a specific IP address, a range of IP addresses, or any IP addresses from where the traffic is sent. Specify a source port or multiple source ports where the traffic generates. This field appears only when you select TCP, UDP, or TCP/UDP protocols. Enter a specific IP address, a range of IP addresses, or any IP addresses where the traffic is sent. Specify a destination port or multiple destination ports that will receive the traffic for this firewall rule. This field appears only when you select TCP, UDP, or TCP/UDP protocol. Select a schedule from the drop-down list. You can define the time and day when the IPv4 firewall rule is to be applied. To configure a schedule, refer to the Schedule policies section. Enter the comment. This field is optional. Click Save to save your settings. Click Cancel to revert to the previous settings. Port Forwarding Port forwarding is a process to restrict access to traffic entering your network, selectively allowing only specific outside users to access specific local resources. By default, all access from the WAN side is blocked from accessing the secure LAN, except in response to the LAN or DMZ requests. To allow outside devices to access services on the secure LAN, you must create a port forwarding rule for each service. It also supports Translation (Outbound).
