Section 1 - Product Overview What is a Wireless Extender? The DAP-X1860 is a repeater that extends the range of an existing wireless network to provide better signals for parts of your home or office that may have poor or no reception. Your existing wireless signal will be rebroadcasted by the DAP-X1860 so that you can stay connected even in the farthest corner of your home or office. Your DAP-X1860 can be connected wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable. For flexibility of access control, the extended network can be configured to inherit the network credentials from the existing network, or you can specify a different network name and password.
