Section 3 - Configuration Wireless - Smart Connect Disabled 2.4 GHz Extended Wi-Fi Status Enable or disable the 2.4 GHz network by toggling this slider. Wi-Fi Name (SSID) This is the name of the DAP-X1860's extended network. If using Wi-Fi, the DAP-X1860 will rebroadcast the uplink router's Internet connection under this SSID. You may also manually set the SSID of the extended network. Password Enter the password or network key that you wish to use for the extended 2.4 GHz network. Security Mode Select a connection security requirement from the following: WPA3-Personal Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 security protocol as the strongest security. WPA2/WPA3-Personal WPA2 and WPA3 clients can connect simultaneously. WPA/WPA2-Personal WPA and WPA2 clients can connect simultaneously. 802.11 Mode Select the Wi-Fi standard for wireless communication from these options: Mixed 802.11b/g/n/ax, Mixed 802.11b/g/n, Mixed 802.11g/n, or 802.11n only. Schedule Select the time during which the wireless network will be available. The schedule may be set to Always Enable or you can add your own schedules. To add a schedule: Each box represents half an hour, with the clock time (0~23) at the top of each column. To add a time period to the schedule, simply click on the start time and drag to the end time. You can add multiple days and multiple periods per day to the schedule. D-Link DAP-X1860 User Manual 32
