Chapter 6 Configuring Port Channels Configuring Port Channels Send document comments to [email protected] This example shows how to enable LACP graceful convergence on a port-channel: switch# configure terminal switch (config)# interface port-channel 1 switch(config-if)# shutdown switch(config-if)# lacp graceful-convergence switch(config-if)# no shutdown Disabling LACP Suspend Individual LACP sets a port to the suspended state if it does not receive an LACP PDU from the peer. This can cause some servers to fail to boot up as they require LACP to logically bring-up the port. You can tune behavior to individual use. Note You should only enter the lacp suspend-individual command on edge ports. The port channel has to be in the administratively down state before you can use this command. BEFORE YOU BEGIN Enable LACP. Ensure that you are in the correct VDC (or use the switchto vdc command). SUMMARY STEPS 1. configure terminal 2. interface port-channel number 3. shutdown 4. no lacp suspend-individual 5. no shutdown 6. copy running-config startup-config DETAILED STEPS Step 1 Command configure terminal Purpose Enters configuration mode.
