Enables BGP and assigns the AS number to the local BGP speaker. The AS number can be a 16-bit integer or a 32-bit integer in the form of a higher 16-bit decimal number and a lower 16-bit decimal number in xx.xx format. Configures the IPv4 or IPv6 address and AS number for a remote BGP peer. The ip-address format is x.x.x.x. The ipv6-address format is A:B::C:D. Enables BFD for this BGP peer. (Optional) Displays the BGP running configuration. (Optional) Saves this configuration change. Configuring BFD on EIGRP You can configure BFD for the Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). BEFORE YOU BEGIN Ensure that you are in the correct VDC (or use the switchto vdc command). Enable the BFD feature. See the "Enabling the BFD Feature" section on page 5-7. Configure the BFD session parameters. See the "Configuring Global BFD Parameters" section on page 5-8 or the "Configuring BFD on an Interface" section on page 5-9. Enable the EIGRP feature. See the Cisco Nexus 7000 Series NX-OS Unicast Routing Configuration Guide, Release 5.x, for more information.
