Chapter 5 Advanced Setup Port Forwarding Port forwarding is used for Internet applications that need access to devices connected to the Modem Router's network: 1. Click Port Forwarding from the menu on the left side of any Advanced Setup screen. The Port Forwarding screen appears. 2. Enter a starting and ending LAN port numbers in the appropriate text boxes beneath step 1. 3. Select a protocol from the Protocol drop-down list (TCP, UDP, GRE). 4.
