Periodic maintenance and adjustment 11. Connect the negative battery lead by installing the bolt. 12. Install the battery cover, and then hook the battery band onto the holder. 13. Install the air filter case by reversing the removal steps. 14. Place the headlight unit in the original position, making sure to insert the projections on the headlight unit stay into the slots on the bottom of the headlight unit. 17. Install the top cover, the left and right side covers, and the shroud. TIP If the fuse immediately blows again, ask a Yamaha dealer to inspect the snowmobile. 15. Fit the weatherstrip on the headlight unit into the recess in the top of the air filter case cover. 1 1. Weatherstrip 16. Fit the weatherstrip on the headlight unit

case cover.

Install the headlight unit bolts and wind-
shield stay bolts, and then tighten them to
their specified torques.
17.

covers, and the shroud.
TIP
If the fuse immediately blows again, ask a
