Changing the brake fluid EWS00471 WARNING Make sure that the brake fluid and the following parts are replaced by a Yamaha dealer. Brake fluid replacement is necessary when the following components are replaced during the periodic maintenance or if they are damaged or leaking. G All oil seals of the master cylinder and caliper cylinder G The brake hose ESU12142 Checking the brake fluid level EWS00460 WARNING Be careful that water does not enter the master cylinder when refilling. Water will significantly lower the boiling point of the fluid and may result in vapor lock. If the brake fluid level goes down, consult a Yamaha dealer. ECS00550 NOTICE Brake fluid may deteriorate painted surfaces or plastic parts. Never spill any fluid. If any is spilled, clean it up immediately. Place the snowmobile on a level surface. Check that the brake fluid is above the lower level and replenish when necessary. Skis and ski runners Check the skis and ski runners for wear and damage. Replace if necessary. 1. Changing the brake fluid

Check the skis and ski runners for wear and
damage. Replace if necessary.
